Protected Downloads First
Start with digital delivery, then pick the right channel
If you’re still deciding how to use Go!BrightCart, start with the protected-download flow, then choose hosted storefront, WordPress, embeds, services, or subscriptions as needed.
Editing Products And Shared Catalog Items
In Go!BrightCart, a product is the reusable source record. Listings decide how that product appears in each store.
Think in two layers
- Product layer stores shared information such as the name, base price, product content, attributes, and variant structure.
- Listing layer controls store-specific behavior such as listing slug, price overrides, visibility, scheduling, and discount eligibility.
What belongs on the product
- core name and descriptions
- base price
- shared variant structure
- product media intended for reuse
- shipping defaults and tax defaults
What belongs on the listing
- store-specific URL slug
- merchandising copy overrides
- store-specific pricing or sale windows
- listing inventory rules
- shipping or tax overrides for a specific store
Editing advice
- Finish the product basics before building lots of listings.
- Use listings for store-level experimentation instead of duplicating products.
- Keep one clean default slug on the product, then override only when a store needs a different URL.
Ready To Launch?
Start with the easiest path and get your selling setup live
You don’t need to build a full store before you can sell a protected download. Choose the digital-download path, compare plans, and launch with a focused storefront or embed.
