Store Setup Basics

Use the store wizard to get a storefront live quickly, then return to store settings for refinements.

What to enter first

  • Store name should be customer-facing and recognizable in emails, checkout, and shared links.
  • Store slug remains a fallback hosted path. Keep it short, readable, and brand-aligned.
  • Currency is a foundational setting. Prices, discounts, and orders depend on it, so choose it before you begin selling.

Domain choices

Every store can launch with an included Go!BrightCart subdomain, keep the default hosted path as a fallback, or connect a custom domain later on eligible plans. A good default is to publish with the hosted subdomain first, then switch to a custom domain after you confirm your catalog and checkout look right.

What to configure after creation

Once the store exists, review:

  • storefront URL and branding
  • checkout messaging and support details
  • shipping profiles
  • promotions and coupons
  • discovery and SEO settings

Practical tips

  • Start with one clear storefront identity per store.
  • Avoid changing the currency after products or discounts exist.
  • Use the store description to explain what customers can expect from this storefront.

Ready To Launch?

Start with the easiest path and get your selling setup live

You don’t need to build a full store before you can sell a protected download. Choose the digital-download path, compare plans, and launch with a focused storefront or embed.
